20-year-old Pradip Gharami started his journey with SAHAY when he was just 6 years old. Growing up in an urban slum with his family, where his father, a bricklayer and the sole breadwinner, struggled to make ends meet. Pradip’s path seemed uncertain before SAHAY offered him not just a platform for growth, but a series of life-changing opportunities. Through various life skills and health-related training sessions, Pradip gained invaluable leadership abilities that ignited a deep passion for guiding others in his community.
With SAHAY’s scholarship support, Pradip completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours in Geography). The scholarship and the life lessons learned through SAHAY opened new doors for him. Inspired by the dynamic, ever-evolving digital world, Pradip has set his sights on a professional course in Digital Marketing. Eager to explore this exciting field, he is determined to expand his career prospects and continue his journey of growth and empowerment.
Pradip has contributed to SAHAY’s work as a co-facilitator, assisting in the delivery of training sessions alongside the facilitators. This hands-on experience not only refined his leadership skills but also deepened his commitment to community empowerment.
