SAHAY is an Indian not-for-profit organization, registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act of 1961, with a mission to improve the lives of young children and adolescents from economically disadvantaged families. Since 1989, SAHAY has been dedicated to implementing high-impact interventions in the areas of education, health, and skill development, working to empower the next generation and create positive change in their communities.
We have initiated projects in several districts in the state of West Bengal, supporting thousands of children and youth with our services and programmes.
SAHAY has always embraced a holistic development approach. Our multiyear support to children and youth involves a broad spectrum of activities, especially in the domains of healthcare, education, life skills development and livelihood support.
At the end of March 2024, SAHAY had nearly 13,000 children and youths as active beneficiaries.
Our Youth Resource Centre at Kolkata is a dedicated space for the children and youth, where they receive state-of-the-art facilities for their academic pursuits and career enhancement. Educational assistance, scholarships, training & mentorship and health care support are intrinsic parts of SAHAY’s child-and-youth focused interventions.
Through our unwavering commitment, we aspire to build a brighter tomorrow for the children and youths of India.
